When I First Touched Your Lips -1

When my lips
First touched yours,
The universe
Stirred in its core—
A secret breeze
Began to soar.

No sound was heard,
No song was played,
Yet all of silence
Softly swayed.

My breath held tight,
Yours slipped free,
And time fell still
Between you and me.

A velvet hush
Had wrapped the air,
And your soft lips
Were trembling there.

Your eyes lowered,
Mine were closed—
And in that touch
The world composed.

No vow was sworn,
No promise made,
Yet love bloomed
And light obeyed.

The sky leaned in,
The stars drew near,
Even the winds
Forgot their fear.

Your lips—so warm,
Like morning dew,
And mine—
Alive, reborn in you.

A fire within,
A storm without,
Yet in your kiss
I knew no doubt.

That first embrace,
So soft, so shy—
Turned mere breath
Into lullaby.

And even now,
When I kiss you again,
That first soft spark
Still lights my flame.

For love began
In that silent start,
When lips just brushed—
But joined two hearts.
