My Dearest Love - A Love letter

 My Dearest Love,

Many moments in life pass like shadows—soft, fleeting, and forgotten.
But then there are those rare moments
that change the rhythm of our breath forever.

That first time
my lips touched yours...
I don’t know if the world noticed,
but I swear the universe paused.

Something stirred—deep and subtle—
as if the stars turned to watch,
as if the sky took one long breath
and the earth stood still
just to witness us begin.

No words were needed.
Your lips trembled like a secret just learned.
Mine leaned in
with the shyness of rain before it falls.

And in that one quiet moment,
we spoke more than a thousand poems ever could.
Our hearts whispered to each other
in the language only silence knows.

I felt your breath soften
like wind meeting wind.
My heartbeat
was no longer mine alone—
it carried your rhythm.

Even the night changed color.
Even the light in your eyes
held something new—
a tenderness, a spark,
a promise.

That kiss was not just skin on skin.
It was the joining of every prayer
I’d ever whispered in solitude.
A beginning
that felt older than time.

Even now, when I think of it,
I feel that quiet miracle again—
how your lips
awoke something sacred in me,
how your touch
turned my breath into belonging.

My love,
people speak of forever
as if it begins after vows—
but mine began
the moment we kissed.

It lives on
in every evening hush,
in every gentle moment
your head rests near mine.
It lives on
in the way I hold you
as if that kiss
never really ended.

And maybe it never did.
Maybe we’re still inside it—
two souls suspended in that stillness
where time bowed to love.

Always yours,
in every breath that remembers,

—Me
