Today, I saw her for the very first time—
That heavenly nymph,
The pure innocence gracing her face,
The depths within her soulful eyes,
The gentle strands of hair that dance on her cheeks,
The tender smile that flutters on her lips.
I sat, spellbound, gazing in awe—
She cannot simply be human.
Perhaps even the heavens above
Whisper the same secret.
To call her beauty just beautiful
Would be to fall short—
Her beauty soars beyond
The reach of any earthly word.
The depth of her eyes
Turns lakes bashful in their quiet,
The freshness of her face
Makes morning blush with shy delight.
Her luscious lips
Tempt the sweetest dreams,
The rosy glow upon her cheeks
Sets the sunset’s fire aflame.
She must be an apsara—
Fallen from the skies,
Sent down to charm this mortal world,
To enchant the hearts of humankind.
Yet still, I struggle to believe—
That she is truly human,
And not some celestial nymph.
