Today, for the first time, I saw her—
That Heavenly Nymph,
The innocence upon her face,
The depths within her eyes,
The playful strands of hair on her cheeks,
The fluttering smile upon her lips.
I sat, amazed, watching—
She could not be just human.
Perhaps even the God above
Might think the same.
To call her beauty merely beautiful
Would never suffice—
Her beauty stretched far beyond
The bounds of any lovely word.
The depth of her eyes
Makes even lakes feel shy,
The freshness of her face
Makes dawn itself blush.
Her luscious lips
Bewitch every taste,
The blush upon her cheeks
Sets the evening sun aflame.
She is surely an apsara,
Descending from the skies
To enchant us here on earth,
To captivate us mortals.
Still, I find it hard to believe—
That she is truly human,
And not a heavenly nymph.
