In the Crowd, Just You

In a crowded room of youthful dreams,

Where echoes danced in silent streams,

A hundred hearts with restless eyes,

Yet yours met mine — and time defied.

No words were said, no gesture grand,

Just stolen glances, hand to hand.

A smile — so soft — it kissed the air,

And all the world ceased to care.

Among the rows, where names were called,

Our souls had met, completely enthralled.

The lecture faded, walls grew thin,

As love at first sight bloomed within.

We started meeting — calm and free,

Like rivers flowing into sea.

Each glance of yours, a sacred art,

Each touch, a beating of my heart.

I held you close in silent grace,

Felt time dissolve in your embrace.

Our pulses danced in perfect rhyme,

A kiss would pause the hands of time.

Your wet lips tasted of the rain,

Of joy, of passion, hint of pain.

With every kiss, with every sigh,

We melted stars across the sky.

But shadows crept where envy grew,

The world, it turned against the true.

No reasons shared, no loud goodbyes,

Just teardrops hiding in our eyes.

You walked your path, I mine alone,

Our hearts like seeds that weren’t yet sown.

With heavy steps, we moved ahead,

But carried love in tears we shed.

I searched for you in moon and mist,

In every name, in every list.

Years turned to decades, winds grew grey,

Yet I kept searching day by day.

My hair turned white, my hands grew slow,

Still deep inside, the embers glowed.

And one soft dawn, through fate’s kind thread,

I found the eyes I never fled.

There you stood — my past, my now,

The same sweet grace upon your brow.

No words were needed — just one gaze,

And all was healed of those lost days.

We spoke in silence, lips still kind,

As if no years were left behind.

Two soulmates met where life had run,

To be as one till breaths are done.

No youthful flair, no hurried pace,

Just calm devotion’s warm embrace.

We held each other, hearts re-tied,

Two stars reborn that never died.

And now we walk, hand clasped in hand,

Upon love’s old, eternal land.

For what began in that one sight,

Still burns today — pure, soft, and bright.

Together now, we write the end,

As lovers, soulmates, life, and friend.

No force can break what time did test —

For love, true love, outlives the rest.
