The Stillness You Left Behind

My heart just longed to break, to cry aloud

Your memory—just a veil beneath the cloud

This body and soul now drift apart

Even life now bears a bitter heart

Each moment stands heavy, frozen in pain

Without you, even sunshine feels like rain

Cracks run deep through dream-worn walls

Ashes whisper from burnt-down halls

Your every word now poisons my veins

Even your silence—ruthless remains

You walked away, and took the light

Even shadows now shun my sight

Letters I wrote now burn in flame

Tears bloom daily upon your name

Your voice still haunts abandoned nights

I crumble beneath its ghostly rites

The mirror now holds a stranger’s face

Even my shadow fears this space

My lips speak only your lost song

But even echoes don’t last long

The heart’s own walls crash in defeat

Breath hides in corners, worn and discreet

You left, but you took my skies too

What’s left of me but the ache of you?

No more love, no waiting near—

Only questions sharp, with no answer clear
